Copy-paste between projects

Copying and pasting between projects is a powerful feature that allows you to reuse elements or structures from one project to another.

What elements can be copied?

You can copy and paste the following elements between your PandaSuite projects:

  • Objects: Texts, images, buttons, videos, etc.
  • Groups of objects: Complex compositions grouped for easy reuse.
  • Components: Modules like Video Player, Audio Player, or Lottie Animation.
  • Screens

How to copy and paste between two projects

To copy an element:

  • Open the source project.
  • Select the object, group, screen, or component you want to copy.
  • Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C (Windows) or Cmd+C (Mac) to copy.

To paste this element:

  • Open the project where you want to paste the element.
  • Navigate to the appropriate screen or page.
  • Use Ctrl+V (Windows) or Cmd+V (Mac) to paste the element.

Best Practices

Interaction Management

Check that the interactions associated with the copied elements work correctly in the target project. You may need to adjust paths or actions.

Avoid Overloading

Limit copying and pasting very large groups to avoid conflicts or slowdowns in the editor.

Pre-organization

Use clear names for your groups and objects before copying them. This will make your work easier once the element is transferred.
