gallery

A gallery enables you to horizontally or vertically browse through pages displaying images as well as shapes, text and other components.

To create a gallery, insert the Gallery component using the Components window: a transparent zone appears at the center of your screen.

To insert your objects, you can:

  • Drag & drop your objects from Medias into this zone: each imported object automatically creates a new page in the gallery
  • Or double-click on the newly created zone to look for your file on your hard drive.

In the Properties window, you can configure the following parameters:

  • Edit gallery: lets you create new pages (with or without images), modify them and manage them (also available by double-clicking on this component).

Good to know: it's possible to insert objects outside the zone defined for the gallery component!

  • User interaction: this option allows your user to activate interactives based on or in this component.

  • Options: choose whether you want your users to scroll the gallery horizontally or vertically, whether you want to activate user scrolling (here, go from one page to another), whether you want to display or hide the scroll bar or whether you want to define automatic scrolling (like a slideshow) with a set timing.

  • Pagination: you can choose to display navigation points (to let users know which page they are on) and change their layout. We recommend you use this option to encourage users to scroll through the pages. These points are independent objects that you’ll find in the List of Objects under “Page Control”

  • Default page: lets you select the page that will automatically be displayed when the gallery loads. If you don’t define anything and you return to this state, the gallery will continue to show the last page that was last displayed.

On each of the gallery's pages, you can edit the objects inside, using their Properties window. Use the breadcrumb to navigate in your component.

Take all the time you need to get familiar with the Gallery component: you’ll quickly figure out all the ways you can use it in your project!
