multi-state

Note: to better grasp what you can do with the Multi-state component, you must first understand the notion of “state”. If this isn’t the case, please (re)read Create animations with states before you start.

The Multi-state component lets you define a precise zone on your screen where you can create several states. This will allow you for instance to animate an element by using automatic transitions between each state.

In Components, select the Multi-state component. The Properties window appears:

  • Edit: to create and edit dependent and independent states (also available by double-clicking on the component)
  • User interaction: if you uncheck this option, your users won’t be able to launch any interaction you may have defined for this component.

  • Default state: use this to select the state displayed when loading the screen. If you don't define anything and you go back to this screen, it will simply remain at the last page that was last displayed.

Multi-state is designed for ingenious people who want to create easy animations for their objects!
